This is the official website of the Finnish Breed Association for Kromfohrländer.
Kromfohrländer
is one of the newest German dog breeds (registered in 1955) and it is quite rare
in Finland. Kromfohrländer is a medium-sized, very intelligent and active
companion and housedog.
The Kromfohrländer breed subdivision of Finnish
Pet Dog Association was founded in 1976, and the Finnish Kromfohrländer Association
was registered in 1997.
The association functions as a link between Kromfohrländer
enthusiasts and breeders in Finland, and aims to make this rare breed more well-known.
The
association offers a variety of resources and services for its members, for instance
the club magazine "Länderi" published four
times a year, a year book with show and competition results, the association's
own annual agility competitions and a special dog show, and an annual summer meeting
for the members. The breed enthusiasts can also meet online at the Finnish
Kromfohrländer forum and shop kromi related club products.
